In an effort to make space for new original paintings and gallery wrapped canvas gicle'es coming this spring, I'm putting eight beautiful, traditionally conservation framed giclees and offset lithographs on sale at drastically reduced prices.
Note: all of these framed pieces are "conservation framed." This means that all materials within the frame are acid-free and proper professional framing methods have been used to hold the print in place in a way that the print can naturally expand and contract with variable temperatures. All of my prints on paper have the added protection of UV protective glass, however no art should ever be subjected to direct sunlight.
To purchase online please click on the desired print(s) below, where you will be taken to cart options. From that page you can also hover over the image to see magnified details. You may also call the studio at (302) 539-3405 to reserve your choice(es).
All framed sale pieces must be picked up in the studio. We will safely hold your choices with full payment until you or a friend or relative can pick them up.
Above is a conservation framed, Captain's Edition, s/n "Treasure Beaches of the Mid-Atlantic" map, with a 1700s 24-carat-gold-plated replica of a King George III rose gold guinea that was found on Delaware's famous Coin Beach. The replica coin, shown above, is engraved on the back with the number of the limited print. The map is double matted in off white with a grey-blue inner matt picking up the colors of the ocean. The coin is archivally mounted in the lower right side of the frame's ivory top mat. The frame is solid wood with burnished gold touches that don't show well in the photograph. It is better appreciated in person. It measures 32" wide by 42.5" tall.
Framed print clearance price, $690. The cost to frame this offset lithograph with special UV protective glass, with double matting and the inset coin, is over $500. Click on the image or stop in the studio to purchase.
Above is a conservation framed archival giclee on fine art paper of "In God's Hands," Strength of Woman Series, Vol. VII. You can't make it out well from the photo but the setting is a night sky with twinkling stars and constellations. When you click on the image you will be taken to a page where you can magnify the painting by hovering over the image. The frame is a solid wood, in midnight blue, with a thick, cotton rag matte. I designed its simplicity to draw your eye into the comforting painting of a woman resting peacefully after putting all her cares in God's hands. It measures 30" x 30" This framed piece was $763 and is now $380, almost what you'd pay for conservation framing alone. Click on the image or stop in the studio to purchase.
