Welcome to this peaceful venue next to the James Farm Ecological Preserve. the only location where you can view and purchase my entire collection of original paintings and current reproductions.
LOCATION The Ellen Rice Studio is situated in a purposefully built building overlooking the James Farm Ecological Preserve in front of the artist's home. The property is in a quiet residential development called The Reservation on the Cedar Neck Peninsula that juts into Indian River Bay on the outskirts of Ocean View, Delaware.
It's about one mile west of the ocean as the seagull flies and approximately 2 miles northwest of Bethany Beach, about 30 minutes south of Rehoboth Beach and 15 minutes north of Fenwick Island and Ocean City, Maryland, depending on traffic. Visitors say it's well worth the travel.
When visiting, please park in the driveway's parking areas inside the property's gates.
Please don't park in front of neighbors' homes, driveways or on their yards!!! Thank you!
From Coastal Highway north of Bethany Beach, turn west at the light at Fred Hudson Road, then right on Cedar Neck Road. Turn right again into The Reservation just past the new Marlin Cove development, then left onto Territory Trail. The studio is at the end of the street in front of Ellen's home, inside a gated split rail fence, just past a white plastic fence.
From points west, drive east on Rt. 26/Atlantic Ave. until approximately 2 miles west of Bethany Beach, Delaware. Turn left at the Central Ave. light just before CVS; drive northward approximately 2.2 miles; turn right into The Reservation development just after the new Marlin Cove development, then turn left on Territory Trail and proceed one block to the end. The studio is on the left inside a split rail fence, just past a while plastic fence as pictured below.
There is ample free parking within the gates and a small ramp for wheelchairs, but there is a step up from the ramp landing to enter. Call (302) 539-3405 if you need assistance.
