'Celebration Series' of Original Paintings Begins
American artist Ellen Rice opened her gallery's doors in Ocean View, Delaware, in the summer of 1999 "on a wing and a prayer," with no retail experience and little money, but with a lot of talent, a strong work ethic, a steadily growing following, a nationally best selling Treasure Beaches of the Mid-Atlantic map, and a lot of faith.
Within five years, the gallery was one of the most successful galleries of its size in the country. Though it faced numerous challenges and had to transition to adapt to them over the years, Ellen's work and the studio draw followers globally.
Kicking off anniversary celebrations, Ellen is creating a commemorative Celebration Series of 25 small original paintings ranging in size from 6" x 6" and 6" x 8" up to 8" x 8", worked in with her larger studio paintings, one every two to three weeks.
The paintings are numbered in sequence on the back, making them collectible not only for their beauty but for their rarity. Ellen very seldom works this small. Prices will start at $500 depending on complexity. This is an opportunity.
Celebration Series paintings will appear below and be featured in Ellen's eNewsletters as they become available. You may learn more about each painting and purchase online by clicking the button below each painting and by calling or stopping in.
