This above photo of this painting was taken with an iPhone in indirect natural light.
No spotlights were on it and no photo adjustments were made. It just glows. 
The inspiration was a cell photo of an August sky taken from my deck overlooking the field and trees of
the southeastern side of the James Farm Ecological Preserve. The waterway and wildlife were creations
from decades of memories living in coastal Delaware.
