Delaware jewelry and ceramics artist Kim Doughty-Cavagnaro takes her work seriously.

A graduate of the University of the Arts with a BFA in crafts and a former teaching assistant for the Corning Museum of Glass, many know her through the Bethany Beach business she founded, The Artful Bean, and Ocean Yoyu Yoga, a studio she and her husband founded together after selling the Bean.

Today she splits her time between creating unique pieces of jewelry and fine ceramics, teaching yoga and being a new mom. She finds all of the sea glass she uses in her jewelry during the couples' travels.

Says Kim, "Taking part in every aspect is the key to making my work as personal and unique as possible."
