Time to Get Your Toes Wet
Time to Get Your Toes Wet
by Ellen Rice
The smell of salt air, the rhythmic sounds of breakers hitting the sand then swishing in retreat, the cry of gulls... These are the things I go to the beach for and never tire of.
I love the ocean in all its moods. The immenseness and constancy puts so many things in broader perspective.
Then there's the smell of salt air mixed with cotton candy, hot dogs, funnel cakes and vinegar-soaked French fries and the raucous cries of gulls trying to snatch them, while in the background are happy cries of excitement and joy as beachgoers of all ages jump in.
Time to Get Your Toes Wet was created to bring happy memories of the shore to you wherever it hangs.
