Christmas Morn

This is an archival gicle'e reproduction of a wood block print made from two wood blocks that Ellen hand carved at age 13 in her public school art class.

She keeps it in her collection because of its timeless meaning and also her memories of her favorite art teacher, Irene Silverstein, who passed along to her next school's guidance counselor that Ellen had more talent than any of the students she'd taught over her years in public education. Her words, told to her by the guidance counselor, bolstered her future efforts.
