Back bay marshlands begin to come to life as a Great Blue Heron emerges from morning mist flying toward the dawn. 

​The heron is the only living creature in sight, but the marshes are teaming with life, and beyond the marshes and bays and over nearby beach dunes the ocean beckons with more sea life.

I love the peacefulness of this softly colored painting. I hope you feel it, too.
