Celebration Series painting no. 17/25, will be another reminder of something we're all craving now - summer warmth!
This is a 6" x 12" x 5/8" oil painting on stretched, portrait grade canvas, shown after its sixth color glaze (session). It will dry again for at least two days before the next glaze.
I was going to do a simpler sky, but today the reflections of the rising sun in wispy clouds spoke to me. We'll see what happens next as i move down to reflections in the water, at water's edge and sand and grasses begin to appear, mostly is soft silhouette.
