"Towering Sea," Celebration Series No 5/25 - SOLD

"Towering Sea" was inspired by a series of photographs I took against facing into buffeting, sandy winds that were strong enough to push me backward and send sea spray towering over the Indian River Inlet (Delaware) south jetty tower.
The 6" x 9" oil on gallery wrapped portrait grade canvas is shown here in a more blueish late afternoon light. The finished painting will be shown here after the foreground is finished and it's signed.
Even at this stage, I feel the exhilaration of the moment. I plan to make prints of some of the Celebration Series paintings, and this is one that may be available in print in December 2024.

All of the Celebration Series paintings are signed on the front and also titled and numbered with the words Ellen Rice Studio & Gallery Celebration Series on the back of the painting's stretcher bars or panels.
Shipping of these small originals may be be picked up in my studio or shipped via fully insured FedEx.
