I started Cate & Levi in 2008 after my first son Levi was born. Although I graduated from law school and practiced corporate law for one year, making things is my true calling. My mom is an avid crafter and my father a committed and successful small business owner. As my wife and I awaited the birth of our first child, I noticed that there was a lack of one-of-a-kind, responsibly made, and beautifully designed products for children.

​I decided to create a unique collection of products that would be intricately crafted and environmentally responsible. I started with a handful of stuffed animals made from recycled sweaters. These became our signature pieces around the world. The fondest memories of any childhood are the ones shared with loved ones. Amazing moments can be made with one of our puppets at nap time and bedtime! 

Hand Puppets are excellent for motor skills, hand-eye coordination, communication skills, and self-confidence. Together they can play, learn, tell stories and have fun, even put together puppet shows.

A hand puppet can also be a helpful tool for parents. If a child is reluctant to eat or go to bed, a puppet can be turned to for backup. On the hand of a parent, a puppet is a playful and effective way to demonstrate good behavior. - Joshua Title
