There's something almost magical about a full moon sparkling over the ripples of ocean water.
I remember gazing out my bedroom window at night as a child, staring at the moon, and wondering so many things about life. Years later I'm still in awe whenever I look up at twinkling stars and the glowing moon, which when full is sometimes encircled with a colored ring as its light transforms moisture droplets into radiant prisms.
I think perhaps it can be a little more magical here at the beach, though I love watching it through tree leaves, too.
I've made a print of this tiny painting to share with those who share in my love of moments like this. Moonglow is the first in my ongoing Celebration Series of 25 small paintings. I hope you enjoy it!
