American artist Ellen Rice opened her gallery's doors in Ocean View, Delaware, in the summer of 1999 "on a wing and a prayer," with no retail experience and little money, but with talent, a strong work ethic, a steadily growing following, a nationally best selling Treasure Beaches of the Mid-Atlantic map, and not least, faith.
Within several years, the gallery was one of the most successful galleries of its size in the country. Though it faced challenges beyond Ellen's control and had to transition to adapt to them, Ellen's work and studio continue to draw followers worldwide.
Kicking off anniversary celebrations, Ellen is creating a commemorative Celebration Series of 25 small original paintings ranging in size from 6" x 6" and 6" x 8" up to 8" x 8" and 6" x 12", worked in with her larger studio paintings.
The paintings are numbered in sequence on the back, making them collectible not only for their beauty but for their rarity. Ellen very seldom works this small. Prices start at $600 depending on complexity. This is an opportunity.
Celebration Series paintings will appear below and be featured in Ellen's eNewsletters as they become available.
